.....Bournemouth Academy runs four terms per year and although we recommend that if at all possible you commence your course at the beginning of theses terms, it is possible for you to join a course at any point throughout the year (preferably a Monday) and study for a period that suits your personal needs. ......We offer a minimum of 15 hours of study per week in classes with a maximum number of 17 students and it is possible for you to enrol on a course from 4 to 48 weeks. |

Courses ........For entry into Bournemouth academy students must be 16 years of age or over. Upon arrival at the .College .you will be given a level test and placed in the apropriate class. .You .will. study .in .a .mixed nationality class with students of a similar level as yours. ......As English is the only language that is used in the classroom the lessons are stimulating and designed to develop your confidence in speaking, reading, writing and listening. |
......All courses commence on a Monday and the first day of school will involve you being given a class placement test and a welcome talk by the Director of Studies and a member of the Academic team. Your lessons will either begin after you have been assigned a class that day or the following day. |
......NB Bournemouth Academy is closed for three weeks over the Christmas period (20/12/2010 to 07/01/2010) and all English bank holidays. There are no English classes on these days. |
