
........Once you have chosen and completed either the 24 or the 48 week option, you will be able to enrol and take the International Computer Driving License (ICDL/ECDL). The school recommends that should you wish to take the examinations and thus gain the ICDL qualification, that you commence your course at the beginning of one of the school’s academic terms in January, April, July or October. |
Computing and IT Skills ........The course enables you to acquire English language communication skills through the development of their knowledge of Microsoft software, computing and IT skills. The course is designed around students who have completed a course of English to level B1 (CEFR). The maximum number of students per class is 15 and you can enrol in a course for 24 or 48 weeks. ........You will be tested and interviewed upon arrival at Bournemouth Academy and placed in either of the two computing classes. The classes will offer you tutor guided project work and will instruct you in the use of a variety of basic and advanced IT computer software packages. |
